Westinghouse Dealer Design Award 2012

Anteater MC™ Air Handler Winner in the ACHR Dealer Design Awards Program.

St. Louis, July 9, 2012 — Westinghouse’s expertly-designed B6EMMX Anteater MC™ Air Handler with Micro-Channel coils has been distinguished by the 9th annual Dealer Design Awards Program by The Air Conditioning Heating & Air Conditioning News magazine. The air handler has received the Silver Award in the HVAC Residential Equipment category.

Due to its resistance to formicary corrosion and lighter weight, the Anteater MC air handler with all-aluminum Micro-Channel coils offers a tough, more convenient solution to industry, contractor and homeowner needs. Its maintenance requirements are minimal and servicing the equipment is easy.

“The experts at Westinghouse have created a solution for those contractors working in areas that are more susceptible to formicary corrosion,” says Matt Lattanzi, director of product management for Westinghouse. “Westinghouse’s efforts and commitment to innovative product development are now being recognized.”

There were 29 contractors that served as judges for this contest. Out of 81 entries, the Westinghouse B6EMMX air handler was recognized for its exceptional use of the all-aluminum Micro-Channel coils, as opposed to traditional tube-in-fin copper coils.
